Goals & Dreams! Did you set a higher one this year?
Everyone talks about new year's resolutions and goals these days but I hope you read this post to the end, because I have enclosed a new year gift for you. 🎁🎁🎁🎁🎁
We are approaching 2019 and we all have hopes and dreams for the new year. The feelings of worry and stress show up when we think of the many things we want to do with so little time.
😱😩😨😬
Some of you know that I teach time management, organizational skills, goal setting, and other executive functioning skills. But let me tell you, and that is not a secret: I am still looking for more effective and efficient ways for setting and achieving SMART goals.🤓😀🧐
So, I am continually learning and trying different approaches. I recently found out that most successful people do something different to get things done on time and on schedule.
Here are three things I learned and will try this year:
1. I will aim to achieve higher this year. I will set goals that are much higher that they actually scare me a bit. I will aim for twice as much as what I did last year. This could be the same goal in half the time or doubling the amount of what I think would be possible. This way, even if I achieve half of that goal, I have done enough and can be happy.
2. I will make my goals public. I am serious! I will tell my friends and my family what I am planning to do. By doing that, I will be more accountable towards achieving them. I will also have an accountability partner and we can help each other to stay on track.
3. I will keep improving myself, and I will be learning everyday. I know surrounding myself with people who have done, or are doing what I am planning to do and learning from them, is really critical. I will also surround myself with those who inspire me to do more.
You matter and you can do, be, and have the best in life.
And to show you that I want all of us to start this year off right, I am offering you a free coaching session. I can help you start 2019 with great intentions and achievable goals.
I can't wait to hear from you and witness what you can accomplish in 2019.
