Adversity or Opportunity
"Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit." Think and Grow Rich
I know you might shake your head at this quote and think what kind of good might come out of heartache.
What possibly could I learn from pain and suffering?
What kind of good can come out of crushed dreams and aspires?
What benefit can a broken heart carry with the painful experience?
What can I possibly gain from falling in life?
Hill examined the life of many successful people and he realized the very thing they all had in common which made their stories a success was actually the high number of times they failed!
What a contrast! I know!
I am not saying failing in life is good but I learned that without it there will be no growth. In fact, failure is a step before success.
Why am I saying that? Because I am not yet where I want to be and that tells me one thing: “I haven’t failed enough times!
That tells me I have not tried enough times to fail enough! That tells me I am not yet where I want to be because I have not yet built he courage to act despite my challenges. I have not yet formed the neurons, or the neuro-pathway in my brain to say yes when my logic and my body say no.
I haven’t yet heard NO enough times!
This might sound crazy but I now know this and I have heard this from those who are where I want to be.
So, I will arrive where I want to be when I have heard enough no’s, when I have failed enough times that it won’t bother me anymore , when I am exhausted but I can still get up!
Am I there yet? No, of course? Can I be there? Yes, of course!
So, do you believe in this quote from Napoleon Hill? Do you think you are where you desire to be? Do you think you have built that special code in your brain to override you and take you where you need to go?
Let's think about this lesson. Let's find the examples from our life, so this lesson can be learned and understood.
